Delivery Times
Orders are processed as quickly as possible from Monday to Friday inclusive and are delivered within 5 to 10 business days (for the aforementioned countries).

These timeframes apply to working days, subject to postal delivery issues and product availability.

Delivery Methods
Delivery is handled by the postal service and sent to the address specified by the customer when placing the order.

In case of absence, the customer will be notified via a delivery notice, indicating that the order is available for collection at their local post office. In this case, collecting the goods is the sole responsibility of the customer.

If the customer requests a new delivery, this will be treated as a new order.

If the order includes multiple products, it may be delivered in several separate packages depending on their volume. Belvas cannot be held responsible if packages are delivered by the post office on different dates (spaced a few days apart).

Damaged goods will be resent based on the extent of the damage after an assessment.

In Case of Dispute Upon Receipt of the Package
Goods travel at the recipient’s own risk. In the event of a dispute upon receipt of the packages (external damage to the box, damaged goods inside due to handling), the recipient or their representative must directly notify the postal service and have an official damage report (constat) drawn up to justify the claim. The customer must file this claim with the post office and forward a copy to us so that we can resolve the dispute as quickly as possible.

Claims & Complaints
Upon receipt of the goods, the customer must immediately check their condition and conformity with the contract. All claims relating to a defect in the delivered goods, an inaccuracy in quantities, or an incorrect reference compared to the order confirmed by Belvas, must be submitted in writing within 3 days of receiving the goods. Failure to do so will result in the forfeiture of the right to file a claim.

You have a return right of 14 calendar days from receipt of the package to return it to us, in its original packaging, for a refund or an exchange. The return shipping costs remain the responsibility of the customer.

In the event of a serious issue, the customer must imperatively inform Belvas via:
Email: orders@belvas.be
Post: Chocolaterie Belvas – Chemin du Fundus 7 – 7822 Ghislenghien (Belgium)

In all cases, the customer must clearly specify their contact details, as well as any information allowing rapid identification of their order. In the event of incomplete information, Belvas will not be able to process the request. The delivered products whose delivery is disputed must be returned to Belvas under the conditions set out above.

Any events of any nature whatsoever beyond the control of Belvas (force majeure, disasters, strikes, administrative decisions, or transport stoppages) that may occur and affect the execution of the delivery shall not be a cause for cancellation of the order, nor give rise to any damages or compensation payable by Belvas.

If the delivery date is exceeded by more than 10 days and is not due to the aforementioned events, the customer may terminate the sales contract by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt.
